Dabur India has realigned its India leadership structure following the appointment of Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer – India Business, resulting in changes to the classification of its senior management personnel.
In a regulatory filing, the FMCG company said Rehan Hasan, Executive Vice President – Sales, Sriram Padmanabhan, Director – Healthcare, and Abhishek Jugran, Director – Home & Personal Care (HPC) and Foods, have ceased to be designated as Senior Management Personnel with effect from July 29, 2026.
The company clarified that the move is part of an internal organisational restructuring and does not alter the executives' existing responsibilities. All three will continue in their current positions and will now report to Bhalla, who oversees Dabur's India business.
Bhalla was appointed CEO – India Business on April 23, 2026, and reports directly to Global CEO Mohit Malhotra. In his new role, he is responsible for driving the company's India operations, strengthening execution across functions and building long-term growth strategies.
With over 25 years of experience in the consumer goods and retail sectors, Bhalla has previously held leadership roles at The Hershey Company, Metro Cash & Carry, and Hindustan Unilever. An alumnus of the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurugram, he has led business transformation initiatives across multiple markets.
The leadership restructuring comes shortly after Dabur reported its financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.
The company posted a 10.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to ₹3,764.39 crore for the April–June quarter, while net profit rose 15.3% to ₹586.16 crore. Total expenses increased 10.2% to ₹3,180.80 crore during the period.
Commenting on the quarterly results, Global CEO Mohit Malhotra said the company continued to deliver growth despite inflationary pressures, geopolitical challenges in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and volatile commodity prices. He also noted that rural India outperformed urban markets for the 18th consecutive quarter, supporting the company's domestic business momentum.
