Quick home services platform Snabbit has appointed Ramesh Srinivasan as Head of Growth and Revenue, bringing customer acquisition, retention, brand building and monetisation under a unified leadership mandate as the company scales its presence across categories and markets.
In his new role, Srinivasan will spearhead the demand side of Snabbit's business, with a focus on growing its customer base, driving repeat usage and building demand across its portfolio of house help, home cooks and beauty services. His mandate will also include local demand planning, an important component of Snabbit's operating model, which matches supply and demand on an hour-by-hour basis across small service areas or nanomarkets.
Srinivasan joins Snabbit from PhonePe, where he worked across growth and marketing for payments and financial services. Before PhonePe, he was with Flipkart, where he contributed to businesses spanning private labels, loyalty and refurbished commerce, while also leading marketing for core categories and flagship festive sales.
Commenting on the appointment, Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Snabbit, said, “I am excited to have Ramesh lead the demand side of that equation. His experience scaling some of India’s largest and most trusted consumer platforms will be invaluable as we build Snabbit into a multi-category platform that can serve tens of millions of households.”
Srinivasan said, “Snabbit is moving everyday household needs from informal networks onto a platform people can trust. Building that trust and making Snabbit a habit are central to the growth opportunity. I look forward to working with Aayush and the team to build demand, one nanomarket at a time.”
The appointment comes as Snabbit strengthens its leadership team ahead of its next phase of expansion. It follows the appointment of Abhinav Ankur as Chief Business Officer and Pradeep Yadav as Head of Operations, adding depth across business, supply and fulfilment, and demand functions.
Since its launch, Snabbit has completed more than 10 million jobs and recently crossed 115,000 jobs in a single day. The platform currently operates across more than 200 micromarkets in five urban markets: the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane; Delhi NCR, covering Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad; Pune; Hyderabad; and Bengaluru.
