Galderma India has announced the appointment of Geetika Saxena as head of digital strategy, a move that underlines the company’s push to build a future-first, digitally led dermatology brand in the Indian market.

Saxena brings over 15 years of experience across FMCG and consumer businesses, with a strong track record in digital transformation, performance marketing, direct-to-consumer (D2C) models, e-commerce, and media strategy. In her new role, she will lead Galderma India’s digital roadmap, placing digital capabilities at the centre of brand building, innovation, and consumer engagement initiatives.

Leadership Experience Across Global Brands

Before joining Galderma India, Saxena held senior leadership roles with several global organisations. Most recently, at The LEGO Group, she was responsible for driving full-funnel strategies across paid, owned, earned, and shared media for India and Emerging Asia. Her remit included media planning, performance marketing, and brand advocacy, along with leading multi-market D2C and quick-commerce initiatives.

According to the company, her work delivered strong brand-lift and consideration metrics, while building high-performing acquisition and conversion funnels across e-commerce and emerging digital platforms.

Focus on Culture, Inclusion, and Long-Term Outcomes

Commenting on her appointment, Saxena said, “I strongly believe that thoughts become things. What we envision, invest in, and commit to consistently are what ultimately shapes brands, teams, and outcomes. I am a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and I believe that only a happy team can deliver phenomenal results.”

Expanded Mandate and Digital Transformation Agenda

In her expanded mandate, Saxena will drive insight-led digital strategies, product and consumer innovation, and capability building across the organisation. As part of its long-term transformation agenda, Galderma India is also strengthening its digital talent ecosystem and platforms, with increased investments in people, processes, and technology.

Brand-Building Push in the Indian Market

Galderma, the Swiss-based dermatology leader, continues to invest in science-backed and dermatologist-recommended skincare solutions for Indian consumers. Its portfolio spans key categories including baby care, hyper-pigmentation, moisturisation, and acne.

As part of its brand-building efforts, the company recently onboarded Rohit Sharma as brand ambassador for its Cetaphil Baby range and Sara Tendulkar for its salicylic acid range, reinforcing its focus on trust, credibility, and consumer relevance.

Digital Leadership at the Core of Growth Strategy

As Galderma continues to expand its India portfolio, the company said it remains committed to accelerating growth through digital leadership, talent development, and capability building—aimed at delivering dermatologist-led skincare solutions aligned with the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
