Meta has introduced new AI-powered features aimed at helping small businesses analyse their performance, manage marketing activities and create business documents using Meta AI.
The new capabilities allow Meta AI to connect with businesses’ Facebook and Instagram accounts, Meta advertising campaigns and Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides. The integrations are available across Meta AI’s app, website and desktop experience.
According to Meta, businesses can use the tools to analyse their social media performance, review advertising campaigns, benchmark their performance against similar brands and generate reports, presentations and spreadsheets using data from their connected accounts as well as publicly available information.
For businesses using Facebook and Instagram, Meta AI can provide insights into how audiences are engaging with their content, including views, saves, shares, comments and profile visits. It can also offer recommendations based on content and audience performance.
The AI tools can further help businesses evaluate their Meta ad campaigns and identify opportunities to improve targeting, creative performance and budget allocation.
Beyond analytics and advertising, Meta AI can assist with business-related tasks, create documents and set reminders based on information about the business.
Meta said the update is part of its broader effort to expand AI-powered tools for businesses, particularly across marketing, customer engagement and everyday work. The company added that access to these features will expand further with the introduction of its Meta One subscription.
Businesses that tested the features during the early access phase reportedly found the recommendations useful because they were informed by their own content, audience and performance data rather than relying solely on generic business suggestions.
With the latest update, Meta is positioning its AI tools as a more integrated business assistant that can combine social media, advertising and productivity data to help small businesses make decisions and execute day-to-day tasks.
