Senior television journalist and news anchor Rubika Liyaquat is reportedly heading to Times Now Navbharat after recently parting ways with News18 India, according to industry sources. She is expected to assume her new responsibilities at the Hindi news channel on June 11, 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the most prominent personalities in Hindi news broadcasting, Liyaquat brings extensive experience spanning more than a decade in the television news industry. Throughout her career, she has been associated with several leading media organisations, including ABP News, Zee News and Bharat24, before her most recent stint at News18 India.
Although the network has not yet formally announced her role, discussions around her next move intensified after Times Now Navbharat unveiled a promotional campaign for an upcoming programme, News Ki Pathshala.
The campaign teases the show with the tagline: “Everyone will tell you the news, but who will help you understand it? That’s why… Madam is coming! Don’t miss the class—your attendance is mandatory! News Ki Pathshala, only on Times Now Navbharat.”
The promotional messaging has fuelled speculation that Liyaquat could be the face of the new programme.
