Vandana Suri, Executive Director – Home Care at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), has received government approval for her appointment as a Director on the Board of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India.

Suri currently heads HUL's Home Care business and is a member of the company's Management Committee. She assumed the position in January 2026, succeeding Srinandan Sundaram, who moved to lead Unilever International.

With over two decades of experience in brand building, marketing and category management, Suri has held leadership roles across several multinational companies and Unilever businesses in India, South Asia and Indonesia.

Before taking charge of HUL's Home Care division, she served as General Manager, Beauty & Wellbeing, at Unilever Indonesia, where she led the business's growth and transformation agenda. She also held the position of Global Brand Vice President for Pond's, overseeing the brand's repositioning and transformation.

During her earlier stint at HUL between 2011 and 2022, Suri occupied multiple leadership positions across Home Care, Beauty & Wellbeing and Foods. From 2014 to 2019, she led the company's premium laundry portfolio and Fabric Care & Conditioner business.

She subsequently served as Vice President – Skin Care & Colour Cosmetics, Beauty & Wellbeing, focusing on premiumisation and driving growth across high-potential categories.

Prior to joining Unilever in 2011, Suri worked with multinational organisations including PepsiCo, Tetra Pak and Nielsen.

An alumna of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, she holds a postgraduate qualification from the institute and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Jesus & Mary College, New Delhi.

BARC India is the country's television audience measurement body, providing viewership data and audience insights to broadcasters, advertisers and advertising agencies. Its Board comprises representatives from these three industry segments.
