Restaurant Brands Asia (RBA), the operator of Burger King in India, has appointed Sumit Zaveri as Chief Executive Officer of its India business. The announcement was made alongside the company's Q2 FY27 financial results.
In his new role, Zaveri will report to Rajeev Varman, Whole-time Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Restaurant Brands Asia.
Zaveri previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Burger King India. Before that, he held CFO positions at Nature’s Basket and Tata Starbucks. He began his career as General Manager – Finance at The India Hotels Company.
Commenting on the company's performance, Madhusudan Agrawal, Chairman, Restaurant Brands Asia, said he was pleased with the results and expressed confidence in the Group CEO's leadership to take the company to greater heights.
