Dhall has worked across multiple roles including journalist, publicist, entrepreneur, sportsperson and angel investor. His work has focused on supporting businesses aligned with India’s long-term development goals.
He studied MSc Sport Management at Loughborough University in 2011. He said his time there gave him global exposure and continues to influence his approach to sports and business.
Dhall founded CommsCredible, a PR and communications technology firm based in Gurugram. The company works with over 40 companies across sectors such as fintech, deep tech, sports tech, manufacturing and social impact, and operates in India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
He began his career at The Economic Times as a financial journalist. He later joined Policybazaar and was part of the team during its growth from a $100 million valuation to a multi-billion-dollar company.
As an investor, Dhall runs the CommsCredible Venture Fund. It has backed startups such as BASIC Home Loan, Sugmya Finance and KhiladiPro. These investments align with initiatives like Viksit Bharat 2047, Digital India, India AI Mission, Skill India and Khelo India.
Dhall has also been active in sports. He played table tennis at the national level and represented India at the World Masters Table Tennis Championships in Rome in 2024. He is set to participate again in Korea in June 2026.
He thanked his family for their support and mentioned the Virendra Kumar Dhall Scholarship for Sporting Excellence, which supports Indian athletes at Loughborough University.
