Little Lamb Films has announced the signing of filmmaker Joyna Mukherjee as an exclusive director, further expanding its roster in the lifestyle and fashion category.
Mukherjee, who has worked independently for nearly a decade, is known for her stylised approach to lifestyle storytelling. Her portfolio includes collaborations with brands such as Schwarzkopf, Wella, CaratLane, and Timex. Her work blends fashion-led visuals with narrative elements rooted in contemporary lifestyles.
The production house said the addition aligns with its continued focus on building capabilities in lifestyle-driven advertising.
Bauddhayan ‘Buddy’ Mukherji and Monalisa Mukherji, founder directors of Little Lamb Films, said, “Well, a Mukherjee joining a production house run by the Mukherjis – perhaps that was always on the cards? Jokes aside, we’re absolutely thrilled to have Joyna on board. She is a remarkable director with an exceptional sense of style. What truly stood out to us was her eye for detail, her sensibility, and the finesse of her craft. Equally important, she’s a wonderful person to collaborate with. We’re delighted to welcome her to LLF and look forward to the new creative dimensions she will bring to our work.”
Shivin Jain, producer at Little Lamb Films, added, “I’m super excited to be working with Joyna. She brings immense experience in the lifestyle, fashion, and beauty space. She has a knack for keeping the viewer engaged—there’s always a ‘wow’ moment in her films. Just when you feel she can’t surprise us anymore, she does exactly that. I feel Joyna and I both look at things a little differently, and that difference in perspective will bring more variety and depth to the films we create together. My constant go-getter attitude feels like a perfect match for Joyna’s energy and vision. Under the guidance of Buddy and Mona, I believe we have all the right ingredients for a successful collaboration.”
Joyna Mukherjee said, “Joining Little Lamb Films feels like a natural coming together of sensibilities. After nine years of working independently, this feels like the right moment to grow the work in new directions. Over time, I’ve developed a distinct visual language within stylised lifestyle work, shaped by atmosphere, texture, and a cinematic eye. I’m excited to bring this into a more collaborative and scaled environment.”
She added that she aims to build a more design-forward visual vertical within the company, with a focus on mood, form, and visual authorship, while also expanding this approach internationally. “At its core, this move simply feels right,” she said.
