Crocs has signed Indian cricketer KL Rahul as its brand ambassador and unveiled a new campaign titled ‘Play Hard. Rest Easy.’ The collaboration marks Rahul’s first association with the footwear brand, as it looks to deepen its engagement with sports enthusiasts and male consumers in India.

Centered around the Classic Clog, the campaign shifts focus from on-field performance to the often-overlooked moments in between — travel, preparation, and downtime. It positions Crocs as a go-to choice for comfort and ease during these phases.

The campaign film offers a look into Rahul’s off-field routine, capturing everyday transitions from home to match day. It also reflects his personal style while reinforcing the role of comfort in an athlete’s lifestyle.

Speaking on the partnership, KL Rahul said the campaign aligns with his lifestyle, where comfort plays a key role amid constant travel and training schedules. He added that the brand’s easy, versatile footwear naturally fits into his off-field routine.

Manoj Juneja, country manager, Crocs, said India remains a priority market for the brand. He noted that partnerships rooted in the country’s passion for sport and culture are central to its strategy, adding that Rahul represents a new generation of athletes balancing performance with personal style.

Sidhant Mago, creative head at Daftar Creative Room, said the idea was to spotlight the unseen, in-between moments of an athlete’s life. He added that Rahul brought authenticity to the narrative, helping translate the brand’s ethos on screen.

The campaign, directed by Achowe, will roll out across digital, social, and retail platforms, along with on-ground activations.
