The acquisition also adds Delve, Marker Collective's proprietary AI-powered media intelligence platform, to AVENIR GLOBAL's portfolio, strengthening its technology capabilities and expanding its international footprint.
Marker Collective comprises approximately 650 employees across 20 offices in the US, the UK, continental Europe and Asia-Pacific. Following the acquisition, AVENIR GLOBAL's global workforce has crossed 1,500 employees, placing it among the world's 15 largest communications firms by revenue.
The three agencies will continue to operate with their individual expertise, client relationships and identities, while benefiting from shared resources and technology. Marker represents more than 450 clients, including some of the world's leading technology companies.
Delve, which converts real-time news and social media coverage into executive-ready insights, is expected to play a larger role across AVENIR GLOBAL's agency network. The group plans to explore its use in client servicing, campaign measurement and workflow efficiency.
"What attracted us to Marker was the quality of its people, the strength of its agencies, the relationships it has built with some of the world's leading technology companies, and the technology they have developed," said Jean-Pierre Vasseur, president and CEO, AVENIR GLOBAL.
He added that the acquisition marks another step in the group's international expansion during its 50th anniversary year.
Helena Maus, CEO of Marker Collective, said the deal would allow the agencies to retain their individual identities while gaining opportunities to collaborate across markets.
Marker Collective will continue to operate separately under Maus's leadership. Archetype, Outcast, Nectar and Delve will retain their respective identities, leadership teams, cultures and client focus. Day-to-day operations and existing client relationships will remain unchanged. With this acquisition, Marker brings approximately 650 employees in 20 offices across the United States, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and Asia-Pacific. With the acquisition, AVENIR GLOBAL now has more than 1,500 employees worldwide and ranks among the 15 largest communications firms in the world by revenue.
