YouTube has partnered with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to enhance digital coverage of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, offering fans a range of content formats designed to make the tournament more accessible and engaging.
The collaboration began with the livestream of the "ICC Captains’ Carnival" from London on the ICC’s official YouTube channel, followed by live broadcasts of all warm-up matches—a first for the platform in the context of the tournament.
As part of the initiative, fans will have access to official match highlights in both short and extended formats, available in English and Hindi. Key moments from games will also be distributed through YouTube Shorts, providing quick, snackable updates throughout the competition.
To improve content discovery, YouTube has launched a dedicated Women’s T20 World Cup hub that brings together highlights, analysis, creator-led content and other tournament-related coverage in a single destination.
The move is aimed at strengthening fan engagement, particularly in India, where YouTube continues to be a major destination for sports content consumption.
Commenting on the partnership, Finn Bradshaw, Head of Digital at the ICC, said the collaboration will help broaden the tournament’s reach through live coverage, regional language content, creator-driven storytelling and improved discoverability across the platform.
The initiative reflects the growing focus on digital-first sports consumption and the increasing role of video platforms in expanding the visibility of women’s cricket among global audiences.
