Prime Video has launched JALLOSH, a new add-on subscription dedicated to Marathi entertainment, in partnership with Everest Entertainment. The service brings a library of more than 260 Marathi films, 50 nataks, devotional programming and original content to Prime members in India.

Available at an introductory price of Rs 199 for the first year, JALLOSH will renew at Rs 399 annually thereafter.

The platform's content catalogue includes Marathi titles such as Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Tukaram, Pawankhind, Chandramukhi, Subhedar, Maharashtra Shaheer, Moraya and Naach Ga Ghuma, along with the Mumbai Pune Mumbai franchise. Additional titles are expected to be added to the library through the year.

Gaurav Bhasin, head – AVOD Business and Marketplace, Prime Video India, said the company's add-on subscriptions have become a way for streaming services and studios to reach audiences across India. He added that JALLOSH's mix of films, originals, nataks and devotional programming will expand the range of Marathi entertainment available to Prime members.

Sanjay Chhabria, founder, Everest Entertainment and JALLOSH, said the partnership would bring the breadth of Marathi entertainment to audiences across India. He added that JALLOSH aims to become a definitive destination for Marathi entertainment, with the Prime Video launch marking the first step towards that ambition.

JALLOSH joins Prime Video's add-on subscription marketplace, which brings content from multiple premium services onto a single platform. Prime members can manage their subscriptions, billing, watchlists and downloads within Prime Video.

With the addition of JALLOSH, Prime Video now offers more than 30 add-on subscriptions spanning multiple languages, categories and genres.
