Raksha Bandhan has long been associated with the familiar idea of a brother protecting his sister. This year, Hyundai India turns that convention on its head with a social campaign that presents safety as a shared responsibility between siblings.

The campaign features an older sister stepping out with her much younger brother, Vansh, who takes on the role of her self-appointed safety companion. Despite his young age and small stature, Vansh remains serious about his responsibilities, reminding his sister to keep her phone away, wear her seatbelt, watch her speed and keep her eyes on the road.

Through the playful sibling interaction, Hyundai highlights a simple message: care and protection are not one-way responsibilities. The campaign moves beyond the traditional notion of the brother as the protector, showing that sisters can lead while brothers can remind, and that both can play a role in making every journey safer.

The social film and accompanying carousel build on Hyundai India's broader focus on road safety while using the emotional familiarity of Raksha Bandhan to deliver the message in a relatable and light-hearted manner.

This Raksha Bandhan, Hyundai India’s message is clear — the promise of safety goes both ways.

The campaign is now live on Hyundai India's social media channels.
