Omnicom reported 7.2% organic revenue growth in its core operations for the third quarter of 2026, driven by strong performance from its Integrated Media business. The advertising group posted revenue of $6.42 billion, compared with $4.04 billion in the year-ago quarter, with the increase largely reflecting its acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG), completed in November 2025.

On a core operations basis, excluding businesses disposed of or classified as held for sale, revenue rose 7.3% to $6.01 billion.

Integrated Media was the largest contributor, recording organic revenue growth of over 10% and generating $3.19 billion, accounting for 53% of core operations revenue. During the October 22 earnings call, CFO Phil Angelastro highlighted the segment’s strong performance.

The advertising discipline, which includes creative agency services, recorded a mid-single-digit decline, although the contraction was less severe than in the first half of 2026. The segment contributed $935.4 million, or 15.6%, of core operations revenue and includes agency networks such as BBDO, TBWA and McCann.

Other segments included Public Relations, which generated $678.3 million, accounting for 11.3% of core operations revenue; Experiential and Other, at $644.3 million (10.7%); and Health, at $566.6 million (9.4%).

Omnicom’s adjusted earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation (EBITA) from core operations rose 21.1% to $1.1 billion. Its adjusted EBITA margin expanded to 18.2%, compared with 16.2% in the corresponding quarter last year.

On a reported basis, operating income increased to $991.7 million from $530.1 million, while net income attributable to Omnicom Group rose to $656 million from $341.3 million. Diluted earnings per share increased to $2.38 from $1.75, and adjusted diluted earnings per share grew 22% to $2.73.

Chairman and CEO John Wren said the company remained on track to deliver $900 million in cost-reduction synergies in 2026 following the IPG acquisition. He added that integration was nearly complete, with the group focusing on high-demand services while continuing to invest in talent and agentic technology.

The US remained Omnicom’s largest market, contributing $3.6 billion, or 60.2%, of core operations revenue. Asia Pacific accounted for 9.6%, generating $573.1 million.

For the first nine months of 2026, Omnicom reported revenue of $19.23 billion, compared with $11.74 billion in the corresponding period last year.
