Magicbricks has appointed Mayank Jain as its chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2026. He joins the real estate platform from CarDekho, where he served as CEO of Auto Classifieds for more than five years.
Jain brings over two decades of experience across digital, media, technology and consumer businesses. During his tenure at CarDekho, he led the Auto Classifieds business, focusing on expansion and technology-driven initiatives.
Prior to CarDekho, Jain headed Network18’s Hindi News cluster as CEO, overseeing seven news channels, including News18 India. His professional experience also includes leadership roles at Disney Star, BT Group, Samsung and HT Media.
At Magicbricks, Jain will be responsible for driving business transformation, advancing technology-led initiatives and strengthening operational and financial performance.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a postgraduate diploma in management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a degree in Computer Engineering.
Based at Magicbricks’ Noida office, Jain will report to N. Subramanian, executive director and group CEO of The Times Group.
