Pure Home has brought actors Bhumi Pednekar and Samiksha Pednekar together to launch its first-ever Kansa collection, drawing on the sisters’ childhood memories and the role of traditional Indian tableware in festive celebrations.
The association centres on the sisters’ memories of celebrating festivals at their grandmother’s home, where family gatherings, traditional food and Kansa utensils were integral to the experience. Through the collaboration, Pure Home aims to connect these traditions with contemporary ways of hosting and celebrating.
The collection features a range of Kansa products, including dinnerware, pooja thalis, dessert bowls and spoons, glasses, chargers and serving bowls. It brings the traditional metal into modern dining and festive settings, offering consumers a way to incorporate familiar Indian materials into their homes.
For Bhumi and Samiksha, the collection reflects how traditions continue to influence celebrations across generations. While lifestyles and entertaining habits have evolved, the sisters see value in preserving the rituals, materials and shared experiences associated with their childhood.
Their association with Pure Home highlights the connection between personal memories, cultural heritage and contemporary home styling. The collection seeks to bring this sense of familiarity into a new generation of homes while allowing consumers to interpret traditional festive settings in their own way.
