Digital-first content studio The Viral Fever (TVF) has unveiled a significant organisational restructuring as it steps up its ambitions across feature films and long-form storytelling, expanding the responsibilities of its senior creative and business leadership.
As part of the changes, TVF president and business head Vijay Koshy has taken on additional responsibilities, stepping into the role of producer or co-producer on select films and series. The move reflects the company’s push to align business leadership more closely with creative execution as it scales output across formats.
In a parallel elevation, Shreyansh Pandey, currently head of originals at TVF, has been promoted to co-producer. Pandey is presently working on a feature film directed by Raghav Subbu, best known as the creator of the popular youth series Kota Factory.
Founder Arunabh Kumar to Shift Focus to Mentorship
According to an official statement, TVF founder Arunabh Kumar will step back from day-to-day production responsibilities following recent health issues. Going forward, Kumar will focus on mentoring the next generation of producers and showrunners within the company, while remaining closely involved in a limited number of high-stakes and strategically important projects.
Panchayat Creator Deepak Mishra to Lead Films and Long-Form Content
Deepak Mishra, creator-director of the hit series Panchayat and a founding member of TVF, will take on an expanded role. Mishra will conceptualise and produce projects across both feature films and long-form formats. In addition, he will direct TVF’s upcoming theatrical feature Vvan, which is being developed in partnership with Balaji Telefilms.
Founding Team Members Take on Expanded Producing Roles
Several other senior and founding team members have also been entrusted with larger production mandates. Shalini and Vaibhav Bundhoo will co-produce multiple projects, including a non-fiction title. Shivani Sinha and Megha Sharma will oversee producing responsibilities across select films and series.
Meanwhile, founding members Anandeshwar Dwivedi and Anant Singh Bhaatu are already co-producing two direct-to-digital feature films, further strengthening TVF’s film pipeline.
End-to-End Ownership at the Core of TVF’s Strategy
The restructuring is aimed at giving senior leaders comprehensive ownership of projects, spanning ideation, creative development, partnerships, and execution. The company said the approach is designed to support TVF’s growing slate as it deepens its presence in feature films alongside its established success in digital series.
With these leadership changes, TVF appears to be positioning itself for its next phase of growth, backed by a stronger producer-led model and a broader creative footprint across formats.
