JSW Motors Limited has appointed veteran automotive journalist and former The Times of India senior editor Pankaj Doval as its Head of Government and Corporate Affairs, marking a key leadership addition as the company gears up for its entry into the passenger vehicle segment.

Doval brings more than two decades of experience in journalism, having extensively covered the automotive industry, government policy, telecommunications, consumer electronics and information technology during his tenure at The Times of India. His expertise in policy and industry affairs is expected to support JSW Motors' strategic engagement with government stakeholders and the broader automotive ecosystem.

Before joining The Times of India, Doval worked with The Financial Express, Press Trust of India (PTI) and United News of India (UNI), building a distinguished career in business and automotive reporting.

His appointment comes as JSW Motors continues to expand its leadership team across engineering, manufacturing, product development, quality, purchasing, design, sales and marketing under the leadership of CEO Ranjan Nayak, in preparation for the company's ambitious passenger vehicle plans.
