Ogilvy India has appointed Parvati Mohankrishnan as senior vice president and India PR lead, strengthening its public relations leadership team.
Mohankrishnan announced the development through a LinkedIn post, marking her return to the communications industry after taking a year-long break focused on recovery and personal wellbeing.
Based in Gurugram, she joins Ogilvy from MSLGROUP India, where she spent over two years as vice president and lead for the agency’s luxury and lifestyle practice. During her tenure, she worked across brand communications and reputation management mandates for clients in the premium and lifestyle segments.
In her announcement, Mohankrishnan shared that she had stepped away from work following a serious health setback that resulted in multiple surgeries and partial vision loss in one eye. She said the period allowed her to focus on recovery before returning to a full-time leadership role.
Her appointment comes as Ogilvy continues to strengthen its integrated communications and public relations capabilities in India, with Mohankrishnan expected to lead the agency’s PR operations and client mandates across the market.
With experience spanning corporate communications, brand storytelling, luxury and lifestyle marketing, Mohankrishnan’s return adds another senior communications leader to Ogilvy’s India leadership team.
