Mastercard has appointed We. Communications as its global communications partner, adding a new international agency mandate to the payments and technology company’s roster.
We. Communications announced the partnership in a LinkedIn post, describing Mastercard as one of the world’s most recognised brands and highlighting its plans to build on the long-running ‘Priceless’ platform while bringing its broader brand story to the forefront.
As part of the mandate, We. Communications will support Mastercard’s global communications efforts as the company continues to evolve its brand narrative beyond ‘Priceless’, with a focus on its technology capabilities, innovation and future direction.
The account will be managed through We. Communications’ global network, bringing Mastercard into the agency’s international client portfolio.
Commenting on the appointment, We. Communications said the partnership reflects the agency’s strengths in technology, navigating complex communications challenges, innovation and client partnerships.
The appointment comes as Mastercard continues to position itself not only as a payments brand but also as a technology company, with its communications strategy expected to encompass its broader business and evolving role in the digital economy.
