Kinshuk Gupta has left Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he served as Chief Communications Officer, according to a source familiar with the matter. Gupta had spent around 10 months with the organisation.

Gupta joined TCS after a three-year stint at Bharti Airtel, where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications, leading the communications function across the organisation.

During his tenure at TCS, Gupta was responsible for the company’s communications agenda, including internal and external communications as well as corporate reputation programmes.

Prior to Airtel, Gupta held leadership roles at GSK Consumer Healthcare, where he led communications and CSR across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. His remit included listed-entity communications, leadership narratives and supply-chain engagement.

With more than two decades of experience across corporate communications, corporate affairs and reputation management, Gupta has also worked with Edelman India, Hanmer MSL, IPAN Hill & Knowlton, Max Healthcare and Vaishnavi Corporate Communications.

Over the course of his career, he has managed communications mandates across sectors including aviation, technology, healthcare, automotive, financial services, energy and telecom.

Gupta’s exit from TCS marks the latest move in a career that has seen him take on senior communications leadership roles across some of India’s leading organisations.
