Jeyasingh Balakrishnan has assumed an expanded role as Group Head – CSR at Metropolis Healthcare, in addition to his existing responsibilities leading corporate communications.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Balakrishnan described the move as a natural progression in his career, drawing on his prior experience in CSR and sustainability communications at Cipla and Hetero, as well as his work with organisations such as Ability Foundation and other NGOs during his time at Grey.
He noted that these experiences have shaped his approach to purpose-led work, emphasising that CSR goes beyond intent and requires consistent engagement, inclusivity, and a willingness to learn.
Balakrishnan also highlighted that in his initial months at Metropolis Healthcare, he has engaged closely with the company’s CSR initiatives and sees opportunities for more collaborative approaches to drive stronger long-term outcomes.
