Ruder Finn India CEO and Head – Middle East, Atul Sharma, has stepped down from his role, concluding over seven years with the global communications firm.

Sharma joined Ruder Finn in 2018 as Managing Director and Vice President and went on to lead the firm’s growth across India and the Middle East. A seasoned communications professional with more than two decades of experience, his career spans sectors such as technology, aviation, retail, and consumer brands, with work across multiple markets and geographies.

During his tenure, Ruder Finn India saw sustained growth, stronger client partnerships, and a more defined strategic positioning in a highly competitive market.

Commenting on his decision, Sharma said, “It has been an absolute honor to lead and build the Ruder Finn group in India and the Middle East. I am deeply grateful to the global leadership team, as well as to every employee and client who trusted RF in a hyper-competitive environment. I am excited to see the next phase of growth under Shivaram’s leadership.”

Kathy Bloomgarden, CEO, Ruder Finn, said, “We thank Atul for his leadership and the significant contributions he made to our business and teams. We wish him continued success in his future endeavors.”

The company has not yet announced Sharma’s next professional move.
