Eloelo Group’s Story TV has entered into a content partnership with Zee Entertainment Enterprises to stream a curated slate of Zee’s popular television shows in short-form, mobile-friendly formats.
Under the collaboration, titles including Agent Raghav: Crime Branch, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Santoshi Maa, and Fear Files will be reimagined as microdrama episodes across genres such as family drama, spiritual, thriller, and horror. The catalogue features well-known faces like Shweta Tiwari, Ratan Rajput and Sharad Kelkar.
The move comes as platforms increasingly target India’s fast-growing short-form content consumption. According to a Redseer report, the country’s interactive media market is projected to expand to between $3.1 billion and $3.4 billion by FY30, driven largely by the rise of short-format content.
Story TV claims a user base of over five crore and a library of more than 1,000 microdrama shows. Its originals have featured actors such as Jay Soni, Abhishek Kapur, Ayub Khan, Gaurav Chopra, Hiten Tejwani, Karan Patel, Karan Mehra and Chahat Pandey.
Saurabh Pandey, Founder and CEO of Story TV, said the partnership reflects the evolution of storytelling platforms and the growing demand for diverse, mobile-first content. “We are excited to partner with an iconic brand like Zee and reimagine their shows for the smartphone-first era,” he said.
Vinod Johri, Business Head – Syndication at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, added that as audience behaviour shifts rapidly, multi-platform reach has become critical. He noted that Story TV’s scale and distribution can help Zee’s shows connect with a new generation of viewers.
