Mimansa Malik hosts Doordarshan’s ‘Decode’ in Sudhir Chaudhary’s absence

Viewers of Doordarshan’s programme Decode were surprised when senior television journalist Sudhir Chaudhary did not appear on the show. The episode was instead hosted by veteran news anchor Mimansa Malik.

The unexpected change prompted reactions on social media, where several regular viewers congratulated Malik on her appearance while also questioning the reason behind Chaudhary’s absence.

Malik later shared a post on social media expressing that she was honoured to have hosted Decode. However, she did not comment on why Chaudhary was not present for the episode.

Malik is a familiar name in the television news industry, having spent nearly 24 years with Zee News. She later had a brief stint with Bharat24.

There has been no official statement regarding Chaudhary’s absence from the programme.
