Vibha Padalkar re-appointed as MD & CEO of HDFC Life for five-year term

Vibha Padalkar has been re-appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HDFC Life Insurance Company for a further term of five years.

Padalkar has been associated with HDFC Life since 2008, when she joined the organisation as Chief Financial Officer. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s financial and operational framework, while contributing to its long-term growth strategy.

In 2018, she was elevated to the role of CEO, becoming one of the few women leaders at the helm of a major life insurance company in India. Since then, she has overseen HDFC Life’s expansion, focusing on innovation, customer-centricity, and a robust distribution network.

Her re-appointment underscores the company’s confidence in her leadership as it continues to navigate a dynamic insurance landscape and drive sustained growth in the years ahead.
