Mumbai-based real estate developer VB Group has appointed Rishikesh R Ranga as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as the company embarks on its next phase of strategic expansion and organisational growth.
With nearly 17 years of experience across financial services, premium real estate, sales and marketing, business development, strategy, channel distribution and proptech, Ranga will be responsible for driving the Group’s growth agenda. His mandate includes strengthening the project pipeline, expanding the development platform, identifying new acquisition opportunities and building greater operational and organisational depth.
The appointment comes as VB Group looks to significantly scale its presence across Mumbai and Thane. The company is targeting a potential sales inventory of approximately ₹10,000 crore over the next two years, while also planning to expand its workforce from the current 70–80 employees to around 300 employees.

Ranga brings experience across multiple facets of the real estate value chain. He began his career in the financial services sector with Aditya Birla Group and Bajaj Allianz, where he spent around six years managing institutional business sales portfolios and working closely with CFOs and boards of directors.
He subsequently moved into real estate with Lodha Group, where he was part of the core sales team involved in the launches of developments including The World Towers, The Park, New Cuffe Parade, Fiorenza, The Trump Towers and Palava.
Over the years, Ranga further developed expertise in premium and luxury real estate across Mumbai’s established micro-markets, including Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and South Mumbai, through leadership stints with developers such as Supreme Universal, Dudhwala Group and Piramal Realty.
