Usha International has appointed Varun Yadav as head of marketing – fans, strengthening its leadership team for one of the company's key product categories.
Yadav announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post, where he expressed enthusiasm about taking on the new role. He said the position brings together his experience in brand marketing, product management and business strategy while offering the opportunity to shape the marketing direction for Usha's fans business.
"I've had the opportunity to work across brand marketing, product management and business strategy. This new role allows me to bring those experiences together while leading the marketing journey for one of Usha's flagship categories," he wrote.
Before joining Usha International, Yadav was national head – category & sourcing at Inalsa Home Appliances. He previously served as category head at Orient Electric, where he managed category growth and marketing initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Yadav spent close to three years at Bajaj Electricals, holding the positions of category head and senior product manager. During his tenure, he worked on expanding the Morphy Richards portfolio and the company's NEX brand. He has also held product and marketing roles at Kohler Co. and Panasonic India.
