The New Indian Express promotes Natarajan Viswanathan to Vice President

The marketing leader steps into an expanded role after nearly six years with the media house.

The New Indian Express has elevated Natarajan Viswanathan to the role of Vice President, recognising his nearly six-year tenure with the organisation.

Sharing the announcement on LinkedIn, Viswanathan thanked his colleagues, mentors, clients, friends, leadership team and family for their support throughout his career. He described the promotion as a significant milestone and said he looks forward to strengthening partnerships, delivering innovative media solutions and creating greater value for both clients and the organisation.

Before his elevation, Viswanathan served as Assistant Vice President (Marketing) at The New Indian Express, where he played a key role in the company's marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining the media house in 2020, Viswanathan spent more than 10 years at The Hindu, holding several leadership roles across the sales and marketing function, including Senior Regional Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Deputy Regional Manager and Deputy Regional Manager.

He began his career in sales and marketing with Dalmia Resorts International Ltd and later worked at Suman Motels Limited before joining Johnson & Johnson, where he managed product promotion, stakeholder engagement, contract negotiations and operational planning.
