Taboola has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Krishan Bhatia as chief business officer. In his new role, Bhatia will oversee global sales and partnerships, with a mandate to drive revenue growth across Taboola’s full product suite, including its Realize performance advertising platform, publisher network, CTV performance solutions and generative AI offerings.

Bhatia joins Taboola from Amazon, where he most recently served as vice president of global video advertising and partnerships at Amazon Ads. During his tenure, he led the company’s global video advertising business spanning Prime Video, live sports, Twitch and third-party programming.

Prior to Amazon, Bhatia was president and chief business officer of the Global Advertising and Partnerships division at NBCUniversal, where he managed the organisation’s digital, streaming TV and advanced advertising businesses.

Commenting on the appointment, Taboola CEO Adam Singolda said Bhatia joins the company at a critical stage as it looks to expand its performance advertising capabilities across the open web and beyond. He added that Taboola’s Realize platform continues to gain traction among advertisers seeking scalable growth outside of search and social channels, while DeeperDive is helping publishers leverage generative AI to innovate and grow.

Bhatia noted that Taboola’s focus on scaling performance advertising and its recent innovations in generative AI present strong opportunities for advertisers and publisher partners. He added that he looks forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.
