Shoppers Stop has appointed Biju Kassim as the Managing Director & CEO of Global SS Beauty Brands Limited (GSSBB), its wholly owned subsidiary.
Kassim was involved in the launch of GSSBB, which operates as a distribution platform for global beauty brands in India. The business has been expanding its brand partnerships and presence in the premium beauty segment.
Nirvik Singh, Chairman, Shoppers Stop Ltd., said Kassim’s experience in the beauty and premium segments will help drive the next phase of growth and strengthen the company’s beauty portfolio.
Biju Kassim said he is taking on the role at a time when the premium beauty market in India is growing. He added that the focus will be on expanding brand partnerships, improving customer experience, and scaling the business.
He also said the company will continue to bring global beauty brands to India and build stronger engagement with consumers.
