Sapphire Foods India Limited has announced changes in its senior management, including a resignation and two internal leadership elevations within its KFC and Pizza Hut businesses.
In a regulatory filing, the company said Deepak Taluja, President and Chief Executive Officer of its KFC business, will step down with effect from the close of business hours on 24 July 2026. He will continue in his role during the notice period until that date.
Following his resignation, the company has appointed Vikrant Vohra as President and Chief Executive Officer of the KFC business, effective 25 July 2026. Vohra is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pizza Hut business at Sapphire Foods.
According to the filing, Vohra has been associated with leading hospitality brands including The Park, Hyatt, Taj and Marriott International over the course of his career. Within Sapphire Foods, he has previously overseen operations across Karnataka, Kerala and western India for KFC before taking charge of the Pizza Hut business.
In a separate change, Saurabh Girdhar has been appointed Assistant Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Pizza Hut business, also effective 25 July 2026. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Pizza Hut operations in Bengaluru and Kerala.
Girdhar has over 17 years of experience in the quick service restaurant sector and has previously worked with Yum India and Devyani International before joining Sapphire Foods.
