Rucha Bhalekar has moved on from FCB India following close to three years with the agency network. She came on board in 2022 and subsequently rose through the ranks, being promoted to associate vice president (AVP) of corporate communications in 2024 and later to senior vice president (SVP) in 2025.

Bhalekar announced her departure through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on her journey at the company and describing it as a period marked by creativity, transformation, leadership, and some of the industry’s most defining conversations.

“What started as a communications role slowly became so much more — a front-row seat to transformation, creativity, leadership, reinvention, ambition, culture, and some of the most defining conversations in the industry,” she wrote.

During her tenure, Bhalekar played a key role in shaping the communications narrative for the agency network across business milestones, leadership movements, campaigns, and industry conversations. In her farewell note, she also acknowledged the people and teams she worked with over the years, calling the experience “deeply meaningful.”

Before joining FCB India, Bhalekar worked with organisations such as Httpool, Isobar, and Mindshift Interactive, among others. Over the years, she has been recognised across the communications and marketing industry platforms.

Bhalekar has not yet announced her next move.
