Senior journalist and television anchor Rubika Liyaquat has exited News18 India, according to industry sources.
Liyaquat had joined the network as Consulting Editor and quickly became one of the key faces of the channel’s prime-time and debate programming. Known for her assertive anchoring style and strong on-screen presence, she played a prominent role in the network’s editorial line-up.
Before joining News18 India, Liyaquat worked with several leading Hindi news broadcasters, including ABP News and Zee News, building a significant presence in television journalism over the years.
Apart from television, she also enjoys a substantial social media following, making her one of the more recognisable faces in Hindi news broadcasting. Her next professional move is yet to be officially announced.
