Risha Magu Joins Google as Director, Communications & Public Affairs

Risha Magu has taken on the role of Director, Communications & Public Affairs at Google, transitioning from Meta, where she spent close to four years as Director – Communications for Policy & Innovation in India.

With over 25 years of experience in the consumer technology and communications space, Magu has built strong expertise in brand strategy, integrated campaigns, and crisis management. Her career includes stints at HMD Global, Microsoft India, and Nokia India, among others.

She shared the update via LinkedIn, where she reflected on her tenure at Meta, describing it as a phase of “bold iteration” and professional growth.
