Raymond Lifestyle has appointed Satyaki Ghosh as its chief executive officer, strengthening its top leadership as the company navigates a period of transition following recent corporate restructuring.
The appointment comes as the Raymond Group sharpens the focus of its lifestyle business and prepares for its next stage of expansion in domestic and international markets.
Seasoned textile and manufacturing leader
Ghosh joins Raymond Lifestyle from the Aditya Birla Group, where he most recently served as chief executive officer – Cellulosic Fashion Yarn at Grasim Industries. In that role, he led a manufacturing-driven business with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability initiatives and profitability.
During his earlier tenure at the conglomerate, Ghosh also held the position of chief executive officer – Domestic Textiles and headed the Thai Acrylic Fibre business, overseeing operations across multiple countries and manufacturing facilities.
Chairman highlights growth opportunity
Welcoming the appointment, Gautam Hari Singhania, chairman of the Raymond Group, said Ghosh’s arrival comes at a pivotal moment for the company’s lifestyle vertical.
“Satyaki is joining Raymond Lifestyle at a crucial inflection point, when the business is positioned for growth and transformation with a wide range of opportunities emerging across the sector,” Singhania said.
He added that rising domestic consumption and changing global dynamics are creating fresh avenues for expansion.
“With consumption in India growing rapidly and shifting geopolitical developments opening new horizons in international markets, our lifestyle business is well placed for long-term growth. Satyaki’s onboarding will bring renewed energy and passion to the organisation and its stakeholders,” Singhania said.
Background in FMCG and beauty sector
Before his stint at the Aditya Birla Group, Ghosh spent over seven years at L’Oréal India, where he held several senior leadership roles, including director of the Consumer Products Division. In that capacity, he oversaw major brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier and Maybelline, gaining extensive experience in consumer-focused brand building and retail strategy.

He added that the company would focus on sharpening its consumer proposition and innovation agenda.
“With a strong emphasis on consumer centricity, innovation and strengthening our product offerings, we aim to contribute meaningfully to long-term value creation,” Ghosh said.
Finance leadership also strengthened
