Raka Khashu steps down from CBRE

Raka Khashu has stepped down as Head, Marketing & Communication, India, South East Asia, Middle East & North Africa at CBRE, bringing to a close a decade-long association with the real estate services firm. She announced her decision in a LinkedIn post.

Khashu joined CBRE in 2016 as Marketing Director and went on to lead marketing and communications across multiple high-growth regions, including India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East & North Africa. Over the years, she played a key role in strengthening brand positioning and driving integrated marketing strategies across markets.

In her LinkedIn note, she described the decision as feeling “a little unreal,” as she reflected on a 24-year career spanning technology, insurance and real estate.

Prior to CBRE, Khashu held leadership roles at global organisations including Cisco, AMD, American Express and MetLife. She has also worked with MetLife India Insurance Company during her tenure in the insurance sector.

Her next move has not yet been announced.
