Rahul Nag has moved on from Pocket FM after a four-year stint as director – brands, communications and partnerships.

During his tenure, Nag led global brand and corporate communications across India and the US, working closely with the founding team through a period of rapid growth and profitability. He was instrumental in building the company’s content and creator-focused PR playbook, while also establishing a strong LinkedIn-led communication engine that positioned Pocket FM among prominent startup voices.

As the first member of the function, Nag built and scaled the communications team with a focus on lean structures and consistent narrative-building.

Prior to Pocket FM, Nag served as head of communications at ShareChat, where he managed brand and corporate communications during a high-growth phase. He has also held leadership roles at Mindtree, and worked with firms such as Flock, Text100 and Adfactors PR.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Nag noted that his focus remained on building narrative, recall and consistency, contributing to Pocket FM’s evolution into a global audio storytelling platform.

His next move is yet to be announced.
