Publicis Groupe has appointed Abhishek Agarwal to its APEX centralised media buying team, strengthening its efforts to streamline planning and buying operations across markets and platforms.
In his new role, Agarwal will work across media planning and buying functions, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to enhance execution and delivery efficiencies.
Seasoned media professional with 14 years of experience
Agarwal brings more than 14 years of experience spanning digital and media roles, with a background across both agency and client-facing assignments. Prior to joining Publicis Groupe, he was part of Zenith’s media buying team, where he handled end-to-end responsibilities covering planning, buying and execution.
During his tenure at Zenith, Agarwal worked across a wide range of sectors, including FMCG, consumer durables, technology, automotive and retail, managing complex, multi-category media mandates.
Focus on data-driven buying and operational efficiency
Over the course of his career, Agarwal has been closely involved in initiatives aimed at improving media buying efficiency and leveraging data to support more informed decision-making across platforms.
At Publicis Groupe, he will focus on advancing the group’s centralised media buying initiatives under the APEX framework, with the objective of improving operational effectiveness, optimising investments, and strengthening delivery outcomes for clients.
