Paytm has elevated Saurabh Agarwal to the position of Vice President – Business, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its business operations.
Agarwal announced the promotion through a LinkedIn post, expressing his excitement about taking on the new responsibility. Prior to this elevation, he was serving as Associate Vice President II (AVP II) at the fintech company.
This marks Agarwal’s second stint with Paytm. He was previously associated with the company from August 2017 to June 2019 before rejoining the organisation at a later stage.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Agarwal has built expertise across multiple sectors, including fintech, logistics, edtech, insurance, express distribution and information technology.
Before rejoining Paytm, he served as Associate Director – Sales at BlackBuck (Zinka Logistics Solutions). Over the course of his career, he has also held positions at UrbanPro, ICICI Lombard General Insurance, Reliance General Insurance, GATI-KWE and Infosys.
The promotion reflects Paytm’s confidence in Agarwal’s leadership and business acumen as the company continues to focus on driving growth across its business verticals.
