Bacardi has appointed Nakul Roy as Managing Director, Southeast Asia, expanding his leadership mandate within the spirits company.
Roy announced his new role in a LinkedIn post, stating that he took charge of Bacardi’s Southeast Asian business in October 2026. He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s business operations across the region.
Roy has been with Bacardi since 2017. Before his latest appointment, he served as Commercial Director and General Manager for Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar, where he led commercial strategy and business operations across the four markets, along with distributor partnerships and market growth initiatives.
During his tenure at Bacardi, Roy has held several leadership positions, including Commercial Director for Thailand, Singapore and Myanmar, Commercial Head for Thailand, and Commercial Manager and Market Development Manager for the Gulf region.
Based in Bangkok, Roy has also served on the Board of Directors of Bacardi Thailand. In his new role, he will lead Bacardi’s business across Southeast Asia.
