E-commerce fashion major Myntra has appointed former Lifestyle India executive Ritesh Mishra as senior vice president and head of category and revenue, strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on growth across fashion and lifestyle segments.

To drive category strategy and revenue growth

In his new role, Mishra will be responsible for leading Myntra’s category and revenue strategy, with a mandate to reinforce the platform’s core fashion and lifestyle businesses while guiding the next phase of expansion, the company said.

The appointment comes at a time when Myntra is intensifying efforts to deepen its assortment, improve brand partnerships and strengthen monetisation across categories amid rising competition in India’s online fashion market.

Experience across fashion and organised retail

Mishra joins Myntra from Lifestyle India, part of the Landmark Group, where he held a senior leadership position. He previously worked with Marks & Spencer India, where he led large-scale retail operations and growth initiatives.

An alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mishra graduated in 2000 and brings over two decades of experience across fashion retail and branded apparel.

Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles at several prominent fashion and retail companies, including Pepe Jeans London, VF Arvind Brands and Pantaloon, building expertise across merchandising, category management, retail operations and business expansion.

With Mishra’s appointment, Myntra aims to further strengthen its category leadership and revenue engine as it looks to consolidate its position in India’s fast-evolving fashion e-commerce landscape.
