Indian fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bolstering the company’s executive team as it pushes to scale its technology backbone and innovation roadmap.

Adiddam will lead Myntra’s technology strategy, overseeing engineering, product development, platform architecture and emerging tech initiatives that support customer experience, personalisation and business growth at scale.

Driving innovation in e-commerce tech

With rapid shifts in online shopping behaviour and expectations, Myntra said the CTO role is central to delivering seamless, high-performance experiences across its platforms. Adiddam’s remit includes advancing the company’s use of data science, machine learning, distributed systems and automation to enhance search, recommendations, delivery speeds and reliability.

In his new role, he will also work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology investments with business priorities and future product offerings.

Strong leadership and industry experience

Pramod Adiddam joins Myntra with deep experience in technology leadership and engineering excellence. He has previously held senior roles where he led large technology organisations, drove digital transformation programs and built scalable platforms that serve millions of users.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the new role, Adiddam said he is “excited to be part of Myntra’s journey,” adding that he looks forward to building capabilities that elevate customer experiences and support the company’s ambition to push boundaries in e-commerce.

Tech strategy in a competitive market

Myntra’s leadership noted that the appointment of a dedicated CTO reflects its focus on leveraging technology as a competitive differentiator in India’s dynamic online retail landscape. With intense competition from other platforms and emerging channels, the company aims to ensure its systems are robust, innovative and future-ready.

By strengthening its technology leadership, Myntra plans to accelerate investments in areas such as AI-powered personalisation, faster fulfilment engines, microservices and platform resilience.

Looking ahead

As digital shopping continues to evolve, the company believes strategic technology leadership will be key to meeting changing consumer demands, unlocking new business opportunities and delivering differentiated experiences that drive long-term engagement.

With Adiddam at the helm of its technology function, Myntra is positioning itself to scale its tech infrastructure while exploring capabilities that support growth across fashion, lifestyle and digital commerce innovation.
