Mondelēz International has named Amit Banati as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2026, the company announced on Monday.

Banati will report directly to Chair and CEO Dirk Van de Put and join the company’s leadership team. He succeeds Luca Zaramella, who will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer, where he will oversee the company’s global commercial operations, including regional businesses, marketing, sales, and supply chain functions.

Banati joins Mondelēz after serving as CFO at Kenvue. Prior to that, he held senior finance and leadership roles at Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company), where he also served as Vice Chair and CFO. Earlier in his career, he worked with Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes, and Mondelēz predecessor Kraft Foods following its acquisition of Cadbury.

Announcing the appointment, Van de Put said Banati brings a strong combination of financial leadership and commercial experience across global consumer businesses, adding that his track record in both developed and emerging markets will support the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Banati said he was “delighted to rejoin” Mondelēz International, calling it a company with “iconic brands and an advantaged global footprint,” and said he looks forward to working with leadership to accelerate growth and strengthen performance.

Mondelēz International, known for brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Milka, and Toblerone, operates in more than 150 countries and reported approximately $38.5 billion in net revenues in 2025.
