Wonder Cement has appointed Mahesh Singh as Vice President – Corporate Brand Communication, where he will spearhead the company’s corporate brand strategy and communication mandate across a wide range of platforms.
In his new role, Singh will oversee initiatives spanning digital and performance marketing, public relations, trade communication, events and exhibitions, sports, and experiential marketing. His mandate will be to bring these communication functions together under an integrated approach aimed at engaging consumers, trade partners and other key stakeholders.
Singh joins Wonder Cement with more than 20 years of experience across marketing and communications, having built his career across the automotive sector, agencies and entrepreneurial ventures.
He spent over a decade with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, where he worked across integrated communications, media, digital, retail and consumer engagement. During his tenure, he also played a role in developing the company’s digital marketing capabilities.
Following his stint with Honda, Singh joined dentsu X India as Vice President – Strategy & Planning. At the agency, he worked across a diverse portfolio of sectors, including automotive, auto components, electric vehicles, FMCG, consumer electronics, BFSI, apparel and brand consulting. His responsibilities encompassed media and marketing strategy, product launches, content, performance marketing and consumer activations.
Singh subsequently ventured into entrepreneurship with Radiant Brands before taking on the role of Head – Marketing & Communications at Shriram Ltd. (SPR Autotech).
At Wonder Cement, Singh will bring together the organisation’s corporate brand communication efforts across digital, performance marketing, PR, trade, sports and experiential platforms. The role is expected to strengthen an integrated communication framework that connects the brand with its consumers, trade ecosystem and wider stakeholder base.
