Lenovo has elevated Shirley Coses Dsilva to lead Asia Pacific Commercial Communications, marking a broader regional mandate after her four-year stint as Head of Communications for Lenovo India.
In her new role, Dsilva will oversee communications strategy supporting Lenovo’s commercial business priorities across the Asia Pacific region. Her mandate will include shaping the company’s commercial narrative, strengthening executive positioning, and driving storytelling around enterprise technology and Hybrid AI.
Dsilva announced the new role on LinkedIn, describing it as a new chapter in her Lenovo journey and a move into a broader Asia Pacific leadership position. She will work closely with Sumir Bhatia and the wider Commercial leadership team as part of the new mandate.
Dsilva joined Lenovo India in 2022 as India Communication Head, bringing more than 16 years of experience in media and corporate communications across sectors including hospitality, realty, engineering, infrastructure, BFSI and FMCG. Before Lenovo, she was Vice President – PR Practice at Strategic Growth Advisors. Her earlier career includes stints with Prose Integrated, Parle Agro, Reliance Capital, Larsen & Toubro, Saimatex Lda, DB Realty, Le Royal Meridien and IPAN Public Relations & Public Affairs Company.
During her tenure at Lenovo India, Dsilva has been involved in shaping communications around the technology major’s business, innovation and corporate initiatives. Her experience spans both agency and in-house communications, giving her a cross-sector perspective on building brand narratives and connecting global messaging with local market priorities.
