KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, the flagship brand of the Hari Krishna Group, has appointed Rajeev Toshniwal as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reinforcing its senior leadership as the company accelerates its retail rollout and strengthens its omnichannel footprint nationwide.

Finance leadership to support next phase of growth

In his new role, Toshniwal will be responsible for overseeing KISNA’s finance, strategy, compliance and governance functions. He will work closely with the company’s leadership team to drive structured growth, improve operational efficiencies and further strengthen financial systems as the brand expands its national presence.

Over two decades of cross-sector experience

Toshniwal brings more than 20 years of experience spanning the retail, FMCG and apparel sectors. A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary by qualification, he has previously held senior finance leadership roles at organisations such as Noble Group SA, Think9 Consumer, Raymond Limited and the Future Group.

His professional background includes managing large, multi-location retail networks, improving store-level profitability and building robust governance frameworks.

Expansion across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets

The appointment comes at a time when KISNA is scaling its operations through an asset-light retail strategy, with growing traction in franchise and shop-in-shop formats, particularly across Tier 2, Tier 3 and emerging markets.

The brand has also been investing in strengthening its omnichannel capabilities by integrating digital discovery with offline inventory and fulfilment systems to enable assisted commerce and boost store-level conversions. Alongside geographic expansion, KISNA continues to focus on design-led innovation, affordable diamond jewellery offerings and transparent customer policies aimed at building long-term trust.

Leadership commentary

Announcing the appointment, Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, Hari Krishna Group and KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, said,
“As KISNA continues to scale its retail presence across the country, building a strong and experienced leadership team is critical. Toshniwal’s deep understanding of retail finance and governance will add significant strength to our leadership bench and support the brand’s long-term growth vision.”

Parag Shah, Chief Executive Officer, KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, said the company is entering a pivotal phase of expansion.
“KISNA is at an important inflection point, with rapid expansion across Bharat and increasing demand for accessible, design-led diamond jewellery. Toshniwal’s appointment strengthens our leadership team and will help sharpen financial discipline, execution and scalability as we grow,” he said.

Toshniwal said he was looking forward to contributing to the company’s next stage of development.
“KISNA has built a strong foundation rooted in trust, accessibility and design. I look forward to working closely with the leadership team to strengthen financial systems, support profitable growth and enable the brand’s next phase of expansion across India,” he said.
