Independent advertising agency Famous Innovations has appointed Senthil Kumar as Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer for its Bengaluru office.
Kumar joins the agency after a 25-year stint at JWT and its subsequent iterations, Wunderman Thompson and VML. Over the course of his career, he has earned more than 300 international accolades, including 27 Cannes Lions, 24 D&AD Pencils and multiple One Show Gold Pencils.
His portfolio includes campaigns for leading brands such as Nike, Levi's, Google, Pepsi, The Times of India, Unilever, Tata Group and Star Sports.
Commenting on his new role, Kumar said, “Famous has always been a maverick — independent, fearless and built on the belief that a great idea can come from anywhere and go everywhere. I'm not here to run a creative department; I'm here to build, as a partner and an owner, and to make work that doesn't just win in the room but moves the world outside it.”
Welcoming Kumar to the agency, Raj Kamble said the appointment reflects the agency’s entrepreneurial culture and ambition for growth.
