Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of Avneet Singh Puri as Executive Vice President and Head of Operations for Domino’s India and South Asia, reinforcing the company’s push to strengthen operational scale and on-ground execution across its most critical markets.

Puri announced his new role through a LinkedIn post, confirming that he will lead end-to-end operations for the Domino’s brand in India and the wider South Asia region — a key growth pillar in Jubilant FoodWorks’ quick-service restaurant (QSR) portfolio.

Leadership role across core markets

In his new capacity, Puri will be responsible for overseeing store operations, supply chain coordination, service delivery and overall performance across thousands of Domino’s outlets in the region. The appointment comes as Jubilant FoodWorks sharpens its focus on efficiency and consistency in execution at a time when competition in India’s QSR sector is intensifying.

Over nine years at Bharti Airtel

Puri joins the foodservice major after spending more than nine years at Bharti Airtel, where he held several senior leadership roles across sales and distribution functions.

Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Sales & Distribution, a position he held for close to a year, leading large-scale go-to-market strategies and channel operations across multiple geographies.

Cross-sector experience in consumer businesses

With a professional career spanning telecom, FMCG and healthcare, Puri brings extensive experience in sales leadership, marketing strategy and business development, along with managing high-volume, consumer-facing operations.

Earlier in his career, he worked with companies including BD, Vodafone and Philips Lighting, adding to his cross-industry exposure and operational leadership credentials.

Focus on efficiency and expansion

The leadership change comes at a time when Jubilant FoodWorks is stepping up efforts to improve store-level performance, optimise costs and accelerate expansion across both metropolitan centres and emerging markets.

As competition from global and domestic QSR chains continues to intensify, the company is placing greater emphasis on operational discipline and execution to sustain growth in its flagship Domino’s business.
